Nora is a leader, consultant, trainer and book writer with engineering background, having total working experience of 15 years in industry, mostly in oil and gas and other companies
Nora started her early career years with Malaysia’s oil and gas company / multinational company, PETRONAS in 2007 and has also served other oil and gas consultancy companies as well as doing training and facilitation.
Throughout her career, Nora has been assigned to numerous leadership position and has led international assignment on training, consultancy and also business development activities in Malaysia, Ghana, South Sudan and Uganda. Thus, she has strong practiced knowledge in both technical and management skills which can be a unique combination in her training and consultancy session.
Nora is capable to customize the technical training with leadership elements by leveraging her knowledge based on her industrial experience.
She is a Certified Train the Trainer by NIOSH Malaysia and HRDF, certified RPQ Bowtie Risk Management by TUV-Rheinland UK, possesses certification as Associate Tripod Practitioner, Incident Investigation method by Energy Institute United Kingdom – Stitch Foundation
In training and coaching experience, she has involved in delivering the training in Malaysia, Indonesia and East African countries. Her capability includes of delivering technical topic related to HSE leadership, Risk Management, and Incident Management, and also in soft-skill, leadership and motivational topic.
In her leadership experience, she has track record in winning projects and leading team consist of technical and non-technical personnel. She demonstrated her leadership through her experience with various involvement in project management, team management, business development and proposal development.
She has been invited as guest speaker in Women in Leadership Conference 2020, Women in Engineering Conference 2019 and 2020 , Dynamic Secretarial and Administrative Conference 2021 and Leadership – Learning from the Rhino by Comfori Malaysia
Nora has also involved with various activities besides her professional work which is humanitarian, with Youth Care Group Network International in Uganda and book writing, on her travelog to Africa region during her assignment as consultant in 2021
Nora has a unique hobby of writing words of empowerment that she inspired through self-empowerment books she loves to read from the authors such as Tony Robbins, Robin Sharma, Dr Paele, Nick Vujicic and Tamara Jacobs
